Hi I am Jigna
Jigna Fadia has been a student of yoga since childhood and loves her practice. Since 2014, she has taught yoga and breathing meditation in a wide variety of settings - from studios and community centers to medical and mental health facilities.

Jigna met Mar Jean Olson in 2007 and was inspired to complete the 750-hour Teacher Training and 250-hour Graduate Teacher Training program at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto, Ontario, facilitated by Tama Soble and Monica Voss. Her passion to continue learning and exploring different traditions lead her to practice and explore the Zen tradition under Edward Espe Brown and Breathing and Pranayama with iRest® Yoga Nidra under guidance of Richard Miller, Stephanie Lopez and Kirsten Guest. Reiki & DWD under guidance of DaleAnn Grey, Marcia Miller and Linda Oshins.

![During a recent visit to the state of Gujarat in India, I had the opportunity to meet the VC, Dr Bimal Patel and his wife Rupal Patel, of the Rashtriya Raksha University (National Defence University). I witnessed how yoga and mindfulness are being integrated into the foundation of present and future defence leaders. It was deeply moving to see young aspirants being trained not just for external strength, but for inner grounding, clarity, and awareness.
Across the world, this process of integration is gaining recognition. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs has reported that yoga and mindfulness practices significantly support veterans in managing stress, improving sleep, and reducing symptoms of trauma and anxiety. Similarly, military programs in countries like the U.S. and U.K. are increasingly adopting breathwork and meditation to strengthen focus, recovery, and long-term resilience.
For forces, frontline workers, and high-responsibility roles, the nervous system is constantly in demand. Without conscious recovery, this leads to burnout, fatigue, and emotional strain. Yoga and mindfulness offer practical, evidence-informed tools to regulate, restore, and rebuild, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
This is where my work becomes deeply relevant. My approach brings breathwork, nervous system regulation, mindful movement, and self-awareness into structured, accessible sessions designed for real-world environments, including defence, healthcare, and public service sectors.

![Some feedbacks stay close to the heart, and even longer after the session.
Practices with me are intentionally slow, mindful, and rooted in awareness. Rather than moving through poses on autopilot, we pause⌠breathe⌠and ground paying attention to the felt experience of the response. This is where a tool becomes a technique of understanding, and understanding transforms to love and kindness.
Saoirseâs words (shared some time ago) are a gentle reminder of why I teach the way I do, creating spaciousness for breath, clarity, and conscious movement where students learn to carry these skills into their daily lives long after the sessions. I the year 2026, I am introducing Yoga & Mindfulness Pods; small, intentional group spaces designed for deeper connection and meaningful well-being. These pods bring together 4-8 participants for personalized yoga and mindfulness, allowing each person to be seen, supported, and guided at a pace that feels personalized. Every pod becomes a space for grounding, nervous system care, and grounded in human connection.
