Happy Diwali from Earth Seedlings Yoga
Diwali is the time to pause and consciously offer gratitude to the universe and the higher self. Grounding to acknowledge this time of regrouping with oneself, family, friends and the community at large. The celebration begins by honoring Lord Dhanvantari, the divine figure in Ayurveda who is worshiped for good health and healing. Traditionally seen as a day for material investments, it emphasizes prioritizing health. In ancient times people combined practicing yoga and cooking food while worshiping Lord Dhanvantari. Way to intentionally connect with elements like earth, fire, water, air and space for good health and well-being.
The meaning of Yoga is Union. The practice to explore integration of the body, mind and breath in relation to grounding where we undulate towards the response of relaxation. Here we visualize the blooming of a flower in a million ways in building a healthy, resilient and progressive community.
Through practice of asana, pranayama and dhyana, yoga unfolds opening dimensions of clarity and self-discovery leading to healing and recovery of the ataman which is the self. This inner resource forms the guiding light in building strength and resilience. Each person has the opportunity to discover and refine this skill in their daily practice.
May the light of life unfold in a trillion ways for you and your family. May we pray for the divine light to illuminate our communities towards good health and well-being.
Arriving on the mat for self-care is an opportunity to tune in, rebalance, re-establish those positive connections and energize with one’s own radiance to arrive in the present building fresh perspectives towards a beautiful future.
Rest, recover and refresh with vibrant energies stepping together towards building harmonious communities. Yoga is a practice, and the practice is the way……..Wishing everyone a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
